Sorry, these are out of order. You might want to start at the last picture. These are the orphanage workers and they took the boys and Bo to lunch. Bo said he had never seen so much food. He did pass on the chicken head soup.
Sleeping in the orphanage. I can't stand to think that is how our girl has spent most of her life.
The is the orphanage that Emma was at and the directors and workers. They had this sign hanging when the guys got there. Pretty nice of them. Bo said they were so nice and so appreciative of him and the boys coming such a long way to see the orphanage. They thanked him for taking Emma and providing for her. They obviously cared a lot for her.
One of the ladies that works at the orphanage. She was with Emma when we got her. They had fruit prepared for the guys when they arrived. The man is John our guide. He is a God send.
Workers at the orphanage folding clothes.
This was Emma's crib for the last 18 months of her life. Wooden mattress.
This is Emma's next door neighbor. They were buddies and now have been seperated. Wonder why Emma cried so hard last night - now we know. She misses her friend.

Mayme,
Your blog is not showing up correctly because your images in photobucket that are your background, header etc having an icon saying photobuckt bandwidth exceeded. If you go in and change your template to just a blogger one it will fix the problem for now and then you can go back and fix it later. Let me know if I can help......lewtercarla@yahoo.com. Glad Emma is feeling better!!!

Wow those pics really make me sad just to know there are places in this world were childen have to sleep on wooden mattreses with no parents to love and take care of them. I think we are so spoiled here in America we just don't think about these things the pics are a real eye opener. Really makes me appreciate were I'm from and the family God has blessed me with. God has blessed you guys with Emma and I know she will be loved and cared for but more important she will be raised in a christan home. I can hardly wait for you guys to get back and share more about your experience. Praying for ya'll and glad Emma feeling better.
Wooden mattresses - tears are streaming down my cheeks. I can't even imagine all the emotions that you and your family are experiencing right now. We are glad Emma is feeling better and that you are beginning to bond. Culture shock itself is difficult to deal with. I remember what it was like when we spent 2 weeks in Ukraine - one thing is for sure...there's place like the USA. We are praying for you daily.
The Reeds
Oh, it's so hard to see pictures like this and know that so many children live in these conditions.
Bo, Rory prayed for you last night. She looked at me and said very clearly "Bo?" before we prayed, and when she prayed, the only distinguishable word we got was "Bo."
