Prom Week # 2

It was Ashton's turn to attend prom this weekend. April is a Junior and she had to invite him since he is only a Sophomore. They all looked so cute and had a great time. Ashton couldn't decide about his hat and ended up voting against wearing it to the actual prom, but I personally think he looked pretty cute in it.

It was pretty fun getting these 2 clowns ready for the prom. I was really glad that I only  had to get 2 boys ready after seeing all the girls and how high maintenance they were.

Seriously, isn't that the cutest face ever.

They were no doubt the most adorable couple of all.

Ashton, April, Tori and Brandon. They all went together and had dinner at
Maggiano's. Ashton said it was the best food he had ever eaten.

Emma had to get in on the action and wear her tux. She wore her lab coat,
a necktie, jacket, white karate pants, and a rose bud. She needs to
    be around more girls!

Note to self, make hair appointment this week.

Soccer Pics

It's that time of year again. Soccer is back in full swing and after 3 seasons, Emma has begun to catch on to the game. Well, she still likes to just look cute and run in various directions but she is attempting to do a little more acutal kicking.

She and Rory are on different teams but are the best of friends.

And no doubt, Emma's favorite part of soccer remains the tunnel and pouring water on Coach Ray's head when the game is over.

Basketball Banquet

Ashton had his basketball banquet this week and I was very proud of him and all his accomplishments this year.
                                                              Ashton and April.

                                                   Ashton, April, and Micheal.

The coach was pointing out how many points Ashton had in one of the games. When he said 23 Ashton was quick to point out it was actually 24.

Senior Prom

So tonight is Brady's Senior Prom and as you can see he is all serious about it. Such a gangsta!

He is taking a good friend and her parents are supposed to get pictures of them together that hopefully I can post later.

We Need More Cowbell

I sent Emma down to wake up Ashton this morning and to give you some idea what she used...well you guessed it. WE NEED MORE COWBELL. Just imagine Emma with the cowbell. She was hilarious and unfortunately I was laughing too hard to even think about videoing her but I couldn't stop thinking about this SNL skit.

Let's Go To the Zoo

We spent yesterday at the zoo. Nothing says Xanax moments like taking a group of preschoolers to the zoo and hoping that you bring the right number back home. We did. I think.
Emma HATED the dinosaur exhibit. She kept yelling "Get me out of here" and that is what I did.
If these 2 kiddos got in and out of the stroller once, just let me say they got in and out of it a gazillion times! I got a very good workout yesterday.
Emma did enjoy the dinosaur dig with her friend Gracie. She kept a watchful eye out for any wandering dinosaurs.

Probably her favorite part of the zoo is the elephants. I wish you could hear her say elephant. It is adorable.
I love that Gracie's dad had her by the ponytail! Basically you have to keep up with them anyway you can.
                                                          What sweet best friends.

Emma's favorite part of the field trip was the ride on the bus. Of course I didn't get a picture of that. She could not stop talking about riding the bus and was so excited that mama rode it with her. Funny, I rode the bus for 12 years and I really don't remember ever being that excited about it!

Easter Egg Hunting at School

Emma had an egg hunt at school this week and let's just say these kiddos are wild.
Gracie Belle certainly has my girl in a choke hold. These girls are the best of friends.

Ms. Renee had to lend a helping hand.

                                                             The fruits of our labor.

Emma's First Sleepover

Emma spent her first night at Nanny's house last weekend while I had to work and Bo and Ashton were out of town. She packed like she was going away for a month and would be traveling to various regions considering that she took 2 swimsuits, long pajamas, basketball clothes, several pairs of shoes, etc. She is nothing if not prepared.
