Praise The Lord and Pass the Kleenex

Well, the good news is that Christian's surgery was a success and he found out today that his cancer is still in remission and he will be scheduled for the bone marrow transplant. He is the only person to have ever gone into remission from this type of Leukemia. We are all so happy for them and what a huge answer to prayer.

The bad news, Emma has RSV pneumonia (viral) and continues to cough and have an incredibly disgusting runny nose. She isn't fond of Kleenex. She went to Dr. H yesterday and he confirmed that she has pneumonia and it would just have to run its course since it's viral. The good news was that her ears looked better after 10 days of antibiotics. Hopefully when she feels better we can get her hearing tested again and she will pass the test. The other bad news is that being the giving child that she is, she has shared her germs and I have an awful cough. I have felt pretty tired and chilled today and thankfully Bo has been home to let me take a nap and run the boys. I am starting medicine today and hopefully this will be short lived. Parents do not have time to be sick.

The boys are back in school and Brady has some new classes. I am hopeful that this semester will be better than last but I also know my precious son. Can you say flying by the seat of his pants? That's Brady.
The picture of Emma and her doll sets the tone for her attitude over the last few days. It looks like she is giving the doll "the eye" and letting her know that she is the boss. That's pretty much how it's been the last week. She has gotten increasingly headstrong and really wants everything to go her way. I feel a time out coming real soon.

What a cute picture! Emma is giving that baby "what for". That girl is going to rule the roost!
