Just when AAU basketball is almost over, soccer is starting back up.



Emma has her first practice this evening (in the 98 degree weather) and she is so excited. She wore her uniform at naptime and woke up saying "soccer".


She also managed to get a rather large knot on her forehead today after jumping in her bed and hitting the head board. Poor thing.


We have started going to another speech therapist and Emma is proving to be very "determined". But I think she has met her match with Miss Sara who is also determined and isn't falling for Emma's charm:) If there has every been a stubborn girl, this girl of ours is one.



Brady is surviving a very hot week of band camp. He is putting in some long days, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 8 p.m. I know that athletes put in a lot of time training, but these band kids work equally hard if not harder.



So, I am off to get ready for work and soccer practice. I am hoping that she actually kicks the ball this season!
