Should I Stay or Should I Go

Emma had a very busy morning playing with Rory. They "swam", caught a wayward butterfly, and played with Play-Doh. Oh to be 4 again.....All I have heard for the last few days is "Rorrrry play, Rorrrry play"

After Melissa picked Rory up and Emma ate lunch, it was nap time. Mom's favorite time of the day:) I had already been up to the room once to check on her and she was playing with her toys that she had politely decided to move to her bed. The next time I went up this is how I found her. Sound asleep and snoring. Suffice it to say she had a busy morning.

The last week was busy with ball camps and church camp, although I had to pick Brady up early because he wasn't feeling well. Emma also had a 3 hour speech evaluation. It was a beneficial visit I think and I am anxious to hear back from them. I think we are going to make a change over the summer and start our speech therapy somewhere else.

The hearing aids are going well. She isn't too fond of me inserting them but she has gone and gotten them out of the container herself and wants her "beep beeps" in. She is beginning to copy a lot more of what we say. I'm not so sure that is a good thing.

Emma has been so busy the last few days. It must be Christmas in June because she has decided that her new favorite thing to do is wear her Christmas stocking hat and apron and watch "The Polar Express" while saying "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas". She is also very fond of riding in her baby doll stroller right now. She insists on strapping herself in and then when she can't undo the strap she just stands up and walks with the stroller attached to her backside. She has also become a huge fan of horses and rides her rocking horse all over the house an inch at a time.

That is hilarious!! Rory took a long nap today too. She kept telling me how much fun she had (and I think she just was startled by Brady - who knows why it scared her!).

Mayme, thanks so much for being there for Melissa! it's good to hear the good news about Emma's hearing aids. The picture of Emma asleep on her feet is way funny!
